Bronchology Unit at the Institute is completely equipped with all necessary instruments. High qualified and educated team is working there. There is a full collection of extirpated inhaled foreign bodies in children.

Our children need to have attention. Inhalation of some foreign body is stressed situation, it leads to complications and the only way of extirpation is bronchoscopic intervention.

Parents, relatives, children garden employees have to be aware of such events. Little objects near children should be taken off. Foreign body inhalation occurs suddenly, irrespectively- suffocation and cough are the first symptoms.

Physicians help is needed at once. Ignored inhaled foreign bodies, instead of continuous visits at physicians ordination, lead to complications and consequences.

Here, at the Bronchologic Unit we have a wide collection of extirpated foreign bodies from the airways – of organic and inorganic origin.
